Old Woman in a Nutshell

December 30, 2007

On this blog I go by Old Woman. You know, like the one in the shoe. ;) I’m 43 years and 5 months old. I’ve been married to Old Man (who is my best friend and one and only true love) for 21 years and we have eight children, two who are homeschooled and three who are attending public school for the first time this year. There’s 19 year old Chelsea, 17 year old Ethan, 13 year old Lily, 8 year old Tess, 6 year old Henry, 5 year old Gus, 3 year old Mamie, and 17 month old Clara. Five girls and three boys.

Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, writing, singing, playing guitar, songwriting, walking, camping, learning new things, and chatting with my friends. I enjoy studying (albeit in a very amateur manner) certain aspects of psychology and what makes people “tick”. I’d like to learn more about traditional music – particularly traditional song lyrics and the history behind them. I’m also interested in learning more about history in general, as well as geography, and the cultures and customs of people around the world.

Now, could someone help me out of this durn nutshell?! My legs are starting to cramp!!
